The Crane Wives end Act I with a Bang at House of Blues with Lilith Max

On May 1, The Crane Wives ended the first leg of their tour with a sold-out show at House of Blues. As the final night of Act I, the performance gave already enthusiastic fans a night to remember. The venue quickly filled once the doors opened, with fans eager for the Friday night concert ahead. Featuring their Act I opener Lilith Max, the night left the crowd ecstatic and energized for this chapter in the band’s career.

Taking the stage first, Lilith Max set the tone, filling the room with energy and anticipation. Her songs blend storytelling and music into one, setting the theme that the crowd quickly connected with. Her music created a whimsical atmosphere, leaving fans cheering and swaying along throughout the entire set. With standout performances of her songs “Peasant’s Throne” and “Birds of a Feather,” which reflected the high energy filling the crowd that night. Her performance set the stage beautifully for the rest of the night and brought an energy that the crowd would carry throughout the show.

Just like that, the moment finally arrived for The Crane Wives to hit the stage. The crowd was buzzing with excitement from the minute the band appeared, and not once did that energy fade. With the audience singing along to every lyric, the band moved through songs of every era since their formation in 2010. From their indie folk roots to their now more indie rock set, the energy in the room never once let up, only growing louder and more enthusiastic as the night went on. A few spotlight performances from their more popular songs, “The Moon Will Sing,” “Curses,” and “Tongues & Teeth,” had the crowd practically become part of the show. With the fans singing as loudly and with as much enthusiasm as the band. This created an atmosphere that felt both intimate and vibrant. By the end of the show, the audience was left with a night they’ll forever remember.

While Act I of the tour has officially come to an end, there are two more legs of the tour set to carry on through the rest of the year. Act II is scheduled to kick off in June, with Act III following in August, having available dates across the country. For fans of indie music, this is a concert experience worth seeing.
