Gov Ball, Charles Reagan
Governors Ball returns to New York City on June 5, 6, and 7th for a historic weekend of entertainment.
In Flushing Meadows Corona Park, you can find everything you have ever wanted. This stacked lineup of over 60+ artists placed inside a gorgeous New York City park is sure to enchant all who are lucky enough to attend. Running through the trees from stage to stage with the sounds of your favorite rapper in one ear and your favorite pop star in the other, it does not get much better than this.
In order to help you find your way through this captivating weekend, we’ve selected all of the must see artists for your new favorite weekend of the year.

FRIDAY JUNE 5th
To start this incredible genre-bending lineup, we have our Friday schedule. Heavy-hitters for this day include Lorde, Baby Keem, Katseye, and Pierce The Veil. The top four artists on the bill and we already have 4 different genres. What a phenomenal way to suit everyone’s needs! As for our headliners, Lorde is bringing a new show to her festival run this summer, different from her most recent tour for Virgin. Baby Keem will be nearing the end of his Casino tour, which I had the privilege of seeing two shows of. All I can say is, I can not wait for the third. Other acts on Friday include Whatmore, The Dare, and The Backfires. You think this is good? It’s just the start…

SATURDAY JUNE 6th
On Saturday, the fun does not stop. Stray Kids and Kali Uchis are set to headline. Both of these acts are world-renowned and genre-bending in their own regard. However, I want to focus on the undercard for Saturday. From absolute superstars such as Blood Orange to incomparable performers like Wet Leg, Saturday is sure to be filled with discussions on how early to wait for your favorite artist. Three absolute powerhouses of the new-wave EDM rap scene, 2Hollis, Jane Remover, and Snow Strippers all perform on Saturday around the same time. These shows are not to be missed, as the artists have completely changed the sound that we are used to. The only question is, who will you choose to see?

SUNDAY JUNE 7th
I hope that on Sunday you haven’t danced too hard, because GovBall ends with a bang! A$AP Rocky and Jennie will headline the final day of the festival, and we couldn’t agree with this billing more. Jennie is an artist in every sense of the word. She is a performer, dancer, singer, and entertainer. You do NOT want to miss her set, just make sure you get there early if you want to be close, because the stage will fill up fast! Sunday is also, to no one’s shock, preceded by an excellent undercard. Some can’t-be-missed names include Khamari, Lexa Gates, and Slayyyter. Slayyyter is coming to New York following the booming success of her recent song, Crank It, which you may have already shouted out in your room, so why not shout it out with the artist?! GovBall is doing an excellent job of recognizing stars in the making and putting them on the stage where they are meant to be.

Gov Ball, Taylor Regulski
Flushing Meadows Corona Park is the place to be on June 5-7th. If we have not convinced you enough, an unfamiliar precedent accompanies this all-star lineup: no conflicting headliner set times. This is what every festival should have with multiple headliners, as no one will have to choose who to see at the last set of the day! If you happen to miss out on some of your favorite artists, however, GovBall puts on After Dark Shows to satisfy your concert cravings. Artists participating include Jane Remover, Wisp, Confidence Man, and more.
Will you be in New York City this June?
