Amyl and The Sniffers

Amyl and The Sniffers

Amyl and The Sniffers sold out the Observatory North Park for their last show of tour

It was that time of year again, the time of year where Australian heavy hitters Amyl and The Sniffers come to town. Last time this amazing band was in San Diego they sold out Soda Bar  which can only hold about 200 people. This time around they sold out the Observatory North Park which holds a massive 1300 people, talk about a major upgrade.

Opening the night was Illuminati Hotties, and they came out with an energy that felt like a punch to the gut. Lead singer Sarah Tudzin has such a powerful raspy voice, you could almost feel her throat vibrating from the crowd. They did as good of a job as you can do at getting an eager audience pumped for the headliner.

Now the time had came for all 1300 beautiful people in that venue, like hearing a ticking time bomb tick all the way down to zero Amyl and The Sniffers set off an explosion of pure rock. The crowd reacted in the only way that was suitable, and a massive mosh pit consumed the entire Observatory North Park floor, a real punk rockers dream. Lead singer Amy Taylor commanded the stage like a punk god, head bangin with intensity, and running all over the stage like a possessed demon. The night was in full swing, and like a cherry on top of a pie, one member threw an article of clothing on the stage. Lead singer Amy put it on immediately, and which seemed like a knitted pink sweater with the word Cunt knitted on the chest. Pure gold.

Don’t Miss this band next time they’re in town. It’ll most likely sell out!
