These days, it feels like there are two kinds of fests – the huge festivals cramming thousands upon thousands of people in to large spaces, and the small regional festivals that feel lucky to get a thousand total. Same Same But Different, happening September 22 and 23 in close-by Perris, CA, aims to fill that void.

The festival features longtime funk band Lettuce on Saturday with Moon Hooch on Sunday, and will seek to create a fun, communal vibe with its swimming, yoga, and art. Take full advantage of Lake Perris with some boating while you’re at it.

Inaugural festivals are always an interesting experience, as you can help shape the vibe of what it is to become; don’t miss your chance to experience and influence Same Same But Different. With it being less than a two hour drive from San Diego and Los Angeles, you can’t miss this chance!
