San Francisco group No Vacation will appeal to avid listeners of indie and dream pop. They’ve only got a handful of releases recorded but all of them sound divine! More info.

Skating Polly, Gal Pals, The Touchies – Casbah
Skating Polly is comprised of step-siblings Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse. This Oklahoma City band has often been compared to riot grrrl musicians, Kimya Dawson, and Beat Happening. More info.

Radio Moscow, JJUUJJUU, Petyr – Belly Up Tavern
Psych-rockers Radio Moscow don’t come from Russia as their name suggests. From Story City, Iowa, they currently have four albums to date and are working on their fifth. More info.

Oysterfest – Embarcadero North
Bands like Ghostland Observatory, Rocket from the Crypt, The Shelters, and The Verigolds playing by the ocean make this is a can’t miss event! More info.

Earthless, MONARCH, Flying Hair, OP Mindblow – Casbah
From San Diego, Earthless was formed in 2001 by Isaiah Mitchell, Mike Eginton, and Rocket From The Crypt drummer Mario Rubalcaba. Anyone who’s a fan of psych rock will probably be a fan of Earthless. More info.

Air Guitar Championships – The Merrow
The 2013 National Champion, Lt. Facemelter, will be hosting the San Diego Air Guitar Championships. This event will have a raffle, air guitar merch, and larger than life characters. 😉 More info.

X-Fest 2017 – Qualcomm Stadium Practice Field
This all ages fest features Phoenix, Empire of the Sun, Bob Moses, K.Flay, Missio, and more. We also really like The Lemon Twigs–make sure you can get there early to catch them! More info.
