With greater focus on instrumentation than in previous records, Helium may not have gotten the hype that their last LP Fresh Air seemed to have, but it does showcase Sagar’s talent for minimalism and stripped-back songwriting. Intimate, sensual, and soothing; it was the perfect backdrop for the evening.
