Wild Horses Fest Rides Into Town on Dec. 30th

San Diego is saddling up for an unforgettable evening as Wild Horses Fest presented by Outriders West trots into town, bringing a roundup of talent that’s sure to rope in country fans all over town. Post Malone, Zach Top, Vincent Neil Emerson, and Paul Cauthen are set to treat the festival goers at Petco Park to an incredible night of music. Here’s why you should be excited about each of these stellar performers.

Post Malone

Global superstar Post Malone is riding into Wild Horses Fest with his signature blend of hip-hop, pop, and (recently) country influences. Known for chart-topping hits like “Circles” and “Rockstar,” Malone’s heartfelt lyrics and genre-defying sound have earned him numerous awards and millions of devoted fans worldwide. In 2024, Malone ventured into the country genre with his sixth album F-1 Trillion, an exciting departure for the Texas native. A commercial and critical success full of ear worm melodies and exciting collaborations, the record managed to nab Malone two Grammy nominations. His electrifying performances and down-to-earth charm make him the must-see headliner for this year’s festival.

Zach Top

Fresh-faced but firmly rooted in tradition, Zach Top is the cowboy troubadour breathing new life into honky-tonk and classic country. With velvety vocals and heartfelt storytelling, Zach is quickly becoming a standout in the Western music scene. Wild Horses Fest will be capping off an exciting year for Top — one that included his debut studio album Cold Beer and Country Music and a huge surge in popularity. Whether you’re a fan of twangy heartbreak ballads or two-steppin’ dance tunes, Zach Top’s performance is sure to hit the bullseye.

Vincent Neil Emerson

Vincent Neil Emerson will bring authenticity and soul to the Wild Horses stage with his blend of folk, blues, and Texas-born storytelling. Often hailed as a torchbearer for outlaw country, Emerson has shared stages with legends like Charley Crockett and gained acclaim for his debut album Fried Chicken and Evil Women and his most recent work in 2023, The Golden Crystal Kingdom.  Expect a set filled with wit, wisdom, and heartfelt tales straight from the heart of the Lone Star State.

Paul Cauthen

Known as “Big Velvet” for his booming voice and larger-than-life stage presence, Paul Cauthen is the ultimate showman blending outlaw country with a swaggering modern edge. Hits like “Cocaine Country Dancing” showcase his magnetic charisma and fearless approach to genre-bending music. With and fresh tunes from his most recent album Black on Black, Paul’s performance promises to be a high-energy, boot-stomping good time you won’t want to miss.
