Unknown Mortal Orchestra presentó un set de rock y psicodelia en Marko Disko con Sean Solomon
La noche del pasado 17 de mayo, el Marko Disko en Tijuana fue el epicentro de una velada histórica al albergar la única fecha de Unknown Mortal Orchestra en México. Los fanáticos no dejaron de ovacionar cada canción, cada solo y cada nota que salía de los instrumentos en un setlist extenso y sumamente divertido que repasó lo mejor de su catálogo musical. La locura colectiva se hizo presente con temas indispensables como So Good At Being in Trouble, Necessary Evil, Stage or Screen y Hunnybee, alcanzando momentos cumbre de pura distorsión y baile con canciones como That Life, Ffunny Ffriends y el cierre potente con Nerve Damage, donde la banda demostró un dominio instrumental absoluto.
Este concierto en Tijuana dejó una marca imborrable, consolidando la increíble conexión que la banda neozelandesa mantiene con sus seguidores de ambos lados de la frontera. On the night of May 17th, Marko Disko in Tijuana became the epicenter of a historic evening by hosting Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s only date in Mexico. With a total sell-out, the atmosphere was charged with an impressive anticipation from the moment the doors opened, gathering an eager crowd anxious to witness the band’s return. The environment overflowed with an energy of pure gratitude and community emotion, so much so that a group of followers organized a highly special gesture: a poster signed by around one hundred attendees that they handed directly to the band as a token of the massive affection and the importance of their visit to the city.
In charge of opening the night was Sean Solomon, who delivered a highly intimate, simple yet powerful set, performing solely with his guitar while sitting next to an old television.
