The Haunt rocks out the Voodoo Room with CHEZ and HIMALAYAS

The night at House of Blues’ Voodoo Room felt like a full celebration of energy from start to finish. With two opening acts leading into the main show, everyone had gathered up to listen to The Haunt’s debut Album New Addiction the crowd was buzzing early on and stayed fully engaged all night. Fans packed the room ready to dance and sing along, creating an atmosphere that kept building up with each performance and set the tone for a fun show.

First up was CHEZ, an Australian band that immediately brought fun and high energy to the stage. Their music felt lively and engaging, and the crowd responded right away, moving and dancing throughout their set. People were clearly into it, and their performance did a great job of warming up the room and getting everyone locked in for the rest of the night.

Next came HIMALAYAS, a UK band playing their first US tour and their first ever show in California. Some fans in the crowd were visibly excited, with one audience member even mentioning they had been waiting for years to see them live. Their set was powerful, energetic, and full of their amazing alt rock sound. People were chanting and dancing along, proving that even as openers, they had a strong and devoted following.

Finally The Haunt took the stage and completely took over the room. Vocalist Anastasia Grace Haunt, alongside her brother Maxamillion Haunt on guitar and vocals, delivered a set that was chaotic, energetic and deeply engaging. Despite the small stage, they moved nonstop, jumped toward the barricade and sang directly with fans, who were absolutely ecstatic.

Their performance featured songs from their latest album New Addiction, their newest single Nervous Wreck, and a reimagined, heavier version of their most streamed song Cigarettes & Feelings, a rendition that fit perfectly with their current rock forward sound. Here in ListenSD we wish The Haunt an amazing rest of their tour as they head towards the north of the west coast. Hopefully we can see them back in San Diego very soon
