Slow Crush Brings Shoegaze to SOMA’s Sidestage With Opening Acts Spite House, and She’s Green

The side stage at SOMA San Diego was packed with anticipation on March 13, 2026, as Slow Crush kicked off their West and Southwest USA tour. The crowd was anticipating a night of music with guitars and the immersive shoegaze sound.

The night started off with Spite House, who started off the night with their song “Ashen Grey.” This song was filled with distortion and a steady sound that set the mood for the night. Spite House finished their set with their song “10 Days.” They had created a thick atmosphere that filled the room even after they stopped playing.

Next up was She’s Green, who shifted the mood slightly with their dream pop sound. They started their set with the song “Graze.” A song that felt light, yet expansive. It filled the crowd with guitars and vocals that sounded like they were floating. Their set was smooth and kept the crowd locked into the dreamy energy they created. They ended with their song “Mandy,” which was met with a warm response from the growing crowd.

By the time Slow Crush hit the stage, the room was filled with excitement. Kicking off their set with the song “Thirst.” Immediately, they met the crowd with their unique sound that made them stand out in the shoe gaze scene. Slow Crush was playing this hypnotic music that just pulled everyone in. As their set was ending, Slow Crush played more intensely before finishing their set with their song “Glow.”
