Norwegian punk band Sløtface are coming to The Echo on their short-but-sweet US tour this Thursday, January 11th.

Still fresh off their debut album, Try Not To Freak Out, released this September, the four-piece are bringing their own concoction of sunny, pure adrenaline so well exemplified in gleaming and danceable songs. Already conquering the indie rock scene in Europe, they’re no doubt ready to bring their movement to the states.

Having formed in support of feminism, Sløtface’s lyrics not only support a glittering example of feel-good and dynamic music, but dismantle the detriment caused by a patriarchal society. If you don’t go for the tunes, go for the movement that is inevitably started–either by their call for justice, or the crowd inevitably dancing along.
