There’s a huge sold out show at the Observatory, a local band night at the House of Blues, some San Diegans turned New Yorkers visiting the Hideout and so much more!

Tuesday, December 15 – The 1975 – Observatory North Park
This Manchester alternative rock band is currently touring the world and making a pit stop in San Diego. The show is sold out but I’d hit up Craigslist for an extra ticket. Their newest album will be released next year in February. More info.

Thursday, December 17 – Pity Sex, Colleen Green, Eskimeaux – The Che Cafe
Pity Sex out of Ann Arbor, Michigan has some new music up their sleeves. They released a new single “What Might Soothe You?” this past fall and have a full length to be released next year called White Hot Moon. See them play with fellow indie rockers Colleen Green and Eskimeaux at the Che! More info.

Thursday, December 17 – Crocodiles – Hideout
This band oringated from San Diego but now they call New York City home. If you’re a fan of Jesus and the Mary Chain, you’ll love Crocodiles. Welcome the noise pop duo home and hear songs from their latest album Boys this Thursday. More info.

Saturday, December 19 – The Verigolds, Grizzly Business, Spero, and Oh Spirit – House of Blues
Support local music! A lot of buzz is surrounding psychedelic quartet the Verigolds. See them play with other San Diego indie groups. More info.

Saturday, December 19 – The Raveonettes – The Casbah
Our favorite Danes Sharin Foo and Sune Rose Wagner have one more US date in San Diego before they head out to London. The shoegaze duo has a new album out called Pe’ahi and it sounds goooood! Check them out this Saturday. More info.
