Hannah Bahng delivers an unforgettable night at House of Blues with Mad Tsai

The House of Blues hosted an electric night on November 25 as Hannah Bahng brought her The Misunderstood Tour along with her powerful presence and unique sound to the city. Even before the doors opened you could feel how excited the crowd was to see her. The line to get inside wrapped around the venue, fans took photos with a life size cardboard cutout of her, and the amount of people waiting made it very clear how anticipated this show was. From the very beginning the atmosphere felt charged and full of emotion, a perfect recipe for a memorable night.

Opening the evening was Mad Tsai, whose charisma and stage presence immediately won over the crowd. His set was filled with energy, charm and genuinely great songs. Two standout moments were his cover of Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance and his performances of Houndsofhell and Bite. Both tracks hit hard and he delivered them while singing, dancing and moving across the entire stage, keeping the audience dancing and jumping along with him.

Once Hannah appeared, the room erupted. Her opening trio of songs introduced her sound and personality perfectly, and her constant interaction with the audience created a warm and playful environment. One of the most memorable moments was when she invited a fan onstage for a fun fashion walk that had everyone cheering. Her original songs sounded beautiful live, and her covers of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit and Billie Eilish’s WILDFLOWER were especially stunning, fitting her voice in a surprisingly natural way. She performed all of her THE MISUNDERSTOOD EP with older favorites such as OLeander and Perfect Blues, a setlist that showed how naturally she connects with her fans through the music she’s made across the years.
