Foxtide Lights Up Voodoo Room with Their Homecoming Show with The Wisconaut and CroonDog

May 30th was a night filled with anticipation as Foxtide took stage for their homecoming show at Voodoo Room at House of Blues. The San Diego originated band returned to the city to close out their Entropy Tour with two sold-out nights, giving local fans an unforgettable evening. With The Wisconaut and CroonDog opening Night 1, the venue kept buzzing with energy throughout the entire show. 

To start the show, The Wisconaut took the stage and set the surf rock vibe for the rest of the night. The performance featured vocalist and guitarist Andrew Idarraga playing songs from the band’s discography, highlighting their latest album, “County XX.” The crowd was fully engaged throughout the set, keeping the energy high as the performance went on. With so much enthusiasm from both the band and the audience for the night awaiting, the set ended up being more intimate and memorable.

The next act was CroonDog, who kept the venue’s indie and surf rock atmosphere alive throughout their set. The crowd remained enthusiastic, matching the band’s energy and keeping the excitement high as the show went on. The music was upbeat and energetic, fitting perfectly with the overall vibe of the night. As the set progressed, more of the audience began dancing along to the beat, adding even more energy to the performance. By the time the set came to an end, the crowd was even more eager to see what the rest of the night had in store.

It was finally time for Foxtide to hit the stage, and the wait proved to be well worth it. The venue quickly filled with the sound of the band and the cheers of the crowd. As this tour followed the release of their newest album, “Entropy,” the setlist featured a mix of their newest releases and older fan favorites. The audience was ecstatic about it, adding to the energetic atmosphere throughout the performance. During the encore, the venue turned into a mosh pit as the band started their hit song, “Pilot Wings.” The crowd quickly erupted with excitement, having everyone dance and sing along as the chorus hit and the night went to a close. While the tour officially ended on May 31st, it’s a band worth seeing when they hit the stage once again in their home town.
