DOUBLECAMP brings a very emotional and fun night to the Voodoo Room with Alejandro Aranda

Sunday night set the tone for an intimate show at the House of Blues’ Voodoo Room, as a really dedicated crowd gathered to see DOUBLECAMP live. The fans who attended were clearly excited, creating a close and inviting atmosphere from the start. The band arrived in town to present their newest album, Flowers For Every Occasion, which also lent its name to the tour. The night felt personal, almost as if the performance was meant specifically for those in the Voodoo Room only.

Opening the evening was Alejandro Aranda who took the stage, and delivered a soft and engaging set with only an acoustic guitar. The mood was calm and reflective, with many songs leaning heavily into instrumental sections that allowed the audience to fully absorb the music. When he did sing, his voice carried naturally through the room, blending effortlessly with the guitar. His performance felt sincere and understated, setting a thoughtful mood for the rest of the night.

DOUBLECAMP took the stage next and immediately shifted the energy. Their set was dynamic and lively while still maintaining a sense of closeness, fitting for songs that often explored personal experiences and emotions. They moved across the stage constantly, dancing and interacting with the crowd, which kept the performance engaging throughout. Standout moments included Smoke and Mirrors, their most streamed song, Bill Murray, which had the audience loudly chanting along to the chorus, and their cover of Wonderwall by Oasis, where nearly everyone joined in. They closed the night with Whenever You Call, ending the set on a strong and emotional note.

With only Arizona and Las Vegas left on the tour schedule, it will be exciting to see how DOUBLECAMP close out this run. The intimate setting only reinforced how well their music translated in a live environment. For anyone who has not yet listened to their work, this performance offered a clear reason to explore their catalog and keep up with them through the rest of their tour. Make sure to follow them on their Instagram and the music streaming service of your choice!
