Tomorrow night the crew from BLK OWL is teaming up with El Dorado for a special night of live music with a truly killer line up. Headliners Gold Fields will be bringing an unforgettable live performance of their new-wave influenced electro dance pop tunes. Hailing from Australia, Gold Fields has performed on massive stages across the globe with acts like Crystal Castles, Datarock, and Metric. Gold Fields textural, multi-layered sound manages to stay approachable and out of the avant-garde, resulting in an infectious sound that keeps bodies moving non-stop on the dance floor.
Alongside Gold Fields is Rush Midnight – the creative side project of Russell Manning (Twin Shadow). His debut EP on New York label Cascine feels right at home, comprised of stripped down rock & roll and a sensual attitude, featuring material produced by George Lewis Jr. a.k.a. Twin Shadow. In anticipation of his debut full length, Rush Midnight released his single, “Don’t Give Me Your Love” which is all kinds of silky and smooth.
Rounding out the live bill is Honeymoon, a new project from the guys that brought you Miami Horror. The duo has churned out a pair of singles ahead of their debut full length album, currently in production. The sound of Honeymoon is a psychedelic pop melody inspired by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and every other 70′s record you inherited from your parents.
Local heroes Adam Salter and Colour Vision will also be in the DJ booth, keeping the vibes going between sets.
Gold Fields, Rush Midnight, and Honeymoon take the El Dorado stage on Tuesday, September 10th at 8PM. Discounted pre-sale tickets are available here.
