X Ambassadors 10th Anniversary of their debut album VHS! and VHS(X) Tour coming to House of Blues

Who they are

X Ambassadors is an alt-rock band that formed in 2007. They released their debut album “VHS!” in 2015, which gives a personal look into the childhood of brothers, Casey and Sam. The album included the popular song Renegades which peaked at 17th place on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2015. It was later nominated as “Top Rock Song” in 2016 at the Billboard Music Awards. If you grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s you would definitely remember at least one of their songs. In their new reworked album releasing August 29th, they sought to transform hit songs such as “Jungle” and their breakout single “Renegades”. Along with this news comes a brand new version of “Unsteady (Rerecorded)” along with its accompanying music video.  

The multi-platinum trio consists of two brothers Grammy Award winning song-writer Sam Nelson Harris (vocals, guitar, saxophone, bass) and Casey Harris (piano, keys) who were later joined by Adam Levine on drums upon the band’s move to Brooklyn. After the band’s major success from their debut album they led a three-year world tour. In the past few years they have released a series of collaborative singles, ORION (2019), the Belong EP (2020), The Beautiful Liar (2021), and (Eg) in 2023.

What to expect

As a celebration of the 10th anniversary of X Ambassador’s well known album VHS, the whole album was remastered to create VHS(X). X Ambassadors will kick off the celebratory VHS(X) North America Tour September 2nd and will visit House of Blues on September 4th, make sure to buy tickets before they sell out. Along the way they will visit their hometown in Ithaca, as well as stops in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, among many others. We can expect their new reworked album along with many nostalgic songs from our childhood and young adult life.
