The Australian trio Wolfmother played a sold-out show at the House of Blues San Diego on March 23rd in support of their new album, “Victorious.” Their “Gypsy Caravan” tour is nearing it’s end in the United States before heading to Canada and Europe. Singer/guitarist Andrew Stockdale, bass player Ian Peres, and drummer Alex Carapetis thrilled fans with their best known songs, “Woman,” “Joker and The Thief,” “Victorious,” and “California Queen.” The band has been likened to Led Zeppelin and The White Stripes due to their guitar-driven, heavy drums sound.
If you missed them this time around and can’t fly over to the UK, Germany, or Spain, be sure to catch them again on June 5th at the Sleep Train Amphitheater for this year’s 91X’s X-Fest.
