The Struts haven’t forgotten that San Diego has been good to them, and returned to The Observatory North Park to give us a rock show glittered with hit singles and a rollicking performance.
The band is no stranger to large festival crowds and even stadium shows, having opened for The Rolling Stones, the Foo Fighters, The Who, and Guns ‘n Roses. They seemed to have passed on the strong supporting act baton by having The Glorious Sons on for the tour.
The Glorious Sons, although on as support, put on a performance as long and as strong as if it was there name on the top of the marquee. They rock a bit harder and vibe darker than The Struts, and the impressive set proved that they are a band not to ignore, matching The Struts in both in caliber and theatrics.
