What To Expect
The Casbah is dark, dank, and proudly kind of a dive, but thanks to their gifted engineers, the sound is second to none. The men’s bathroom is a bit rough, though, suitable for quick visits only. The Razzmatazz Room in the back sports a few booths and a pool table (unless there’s music scheduled) where you might find the bands lounging before the show.
Tips and Tricks
While you can pay cash at the door (after a quick visit to the ATM inside if necessary), the Casbah regularly sells out in advance of the show; when in doubt, buy your tickets online from their website.
Arrive early and you can find plenty of street parking (and you’ll get to enjoy all the opening acts).
