Howdy Pardners.
Calendars
We have two calendars to add and view in your own calendar app:
- ListenSD SongKick – these are shows we’re capital-I Interested in, maintained on songkick.com (shows we’re either covering or going to or would recommend to friends, so these will be prime candidates to request to cover when they’re available). This calendar is readonly, so all you need to do is add it via the URL: http://www.songkick.com/users/listensd/calendars.ics?filter=attendance
- LSD Work – this calendar tracks events to be covered, when reviews are due, emails to send, calls to make, etc. You’ll be added to this calendar via your gmail.
Together, these calendars should help you tell at a glance what shows ListenSD recommends and who’s already covering what. Claimed shows with approved coverage will appear as Cover: Artist at Venue (Reviewer) , shows that have been requested appears as Cover (PENDING) and if rejected, then as Cover (DENIED) to indicate we already tried.
How to request to cover an event
For now, send an email to narda.crossley@listensd.com and include:
- Name of Event/Headliner
- Date of Event
- Location of Event
- Type of coverage: review (usually 2 tickets) or photo (usually 1 photo pass with artist/venue restrictions)
- Your email and cel number to relay as needed
- Advanced: include if you will be making your own request to Cover For ListenSD, otherwise we will contact venue/promoter/artist marketing on your behalf
In the future, we will likely make a new Concert Coverage Request Form (which will still just email Narda, but gather the request data in a standardized way) as well as find a way to list the shows we’ve been asked to cover that no one is assigned to yet.

Archive — These links and docs are OBE but not all have been replaced/updated yet. If you can’t find answers above, you can consult these docs for older processes.
Use ONLY this Google Form to request shows you want to cover:
