Hinds

Say hello to the Spanish Indie rock that is Hinds. Originally formed in 2011 with the name “Deers”, the duo Carlotta Cosials and Ana García Perrote, play a fabulous combo of indie rock and lo-fi. As of now they have released four albums, an LP, and countless singles. This stop is one of many on their several tours around the globe. They are insanely regarded back home in Madrid and are internationally known after large opening acts with The Strokes, The Vaccines, and Black Lips to name a few. If you are unsure of who to check out on the first day of the festival make sure to check out Hinds. If you do, you’re going to be awestruck.

Royel Otis

We have yet another duo, Royel Otis is an Australian indie pop duo from Sydney forming not that long ago in 2019. The band is considered to encompass a broad range of indie rock, new wave, and psychedelic rock. Their name is actually the duo’s first names, Royel Maddell (born Leroy Francis Bressington) and Otis Pavlovic who had been family friends before their founding. Last October Royel Otis made their first US television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Many are considering Royel Otis to be the next big thing, bringing about nostalgia in older audiences and grabbing the attention of listeners online. Make sure to set aside time to listen to their set on Saturday

Rainbow Kitten Surprise

Formed In 2013, Rainbow Kitten Surprise started in just a dorm room at Appalachian State University. In the past decade the band has achieved broad recognition with four albums and multi platinum song, “It’s Called: Freefall”. The group consists of members Darrick Keller, Ela Melo, Ethan Goodpaster, and Jess Haney. Ohana is going to be the perfect stage for them to shine with their own style of alt-rock.
