Noah Kahan Sparked Deep Catharsis and Introspection at a Sold Out Petco Park with Gigi Perez and Annabelle Dinda

On the night of August 17th, the immensity of Petco Park transformed into an extraordinary, full of emotions venue as Noah Kahan brought his tour to San Diego. Joined by incredible supporting acts Annabelle Dinda and Gigi Perez, the sold-out stadium was completely packed with thousands of fans who created a joyous but melancholic atmosphere from the moment the first string was played. The evening offered an astounding production, combining intimate folk storytelling with an inspiring, multiple stages visual setup that kept the audience in the whole stadium engaged from start to finish.

Kicking off the night was Annabelle Dinda, who opened the show irradiating pure joy with her fun, playful energy and warming up the early crowd instantly. She set a bright, welcoming tone across the stadium, captivating arriving fans with her buoyant stage presence and infectious smiles. Her lively performance provided the perfect spark to launch the evening, leaving the audience energized and excited for the incredible music still to come.

Taking the stage next was Gigi Perez, who delivered an incredible set backed by amazing vocals and a vibrant band. A deeply moving highlight arrived when she shared the story of how a Noah Kahan song genuinely changed her life, expressing her immense gratitude for opening the tour. Mid-set, she brought out her sister Bella to perform Sugar Water, a song they wrote together, followed by Karma, a gritty rock cover of Lana Del Rey’s Summertime Sadness, and Fable, before closing out her fantastic performance with her viral hit Sailor Song. Later in the night, Gigi returned to the main stage to join Noah for an unforgettable collaborative duet that brought the stadium to its feet.

Noah’s stage layout was nothing short of breathtaking, featuring a central house-like structure framed by a massive backdrop screen projecting shifting cinematic visuals throughout the night. The production expanded across the venue with multiple performance areas, including a car positioned on the far left of the main stage, a dock extension that split into walkways leading to smaller stages closer to the pit, and a specialized stage behind the pit where his entire band joined him for a final fraction of the show. Every fan in attendance was given an LED wristband, creating an astounding sea of synchronized lights that illuminated the entire stadium. During Dashboard, a dramatic sequence unfolded as wristbands flashed red and blue while Noah appeared to get arrested and pushed into a vehicle, where he started the song then leading with Dial Drunk and into a stunning moment where the roof of a rustic shack lowered completely to the floor, allowing him to perform Walled City and Porch Light directly from the ceiling.

The extensive setlist took the audience on an emotional journey through his beloved discography. The venue erupted as Noah delivered passionate performances of songs like Dial Drunk, Northern Attitude, Every Dog Has Its Day, False Confidence, All My Love, and Growing Sideways. The energy remained high with crowd favorites like She Calls Me Back, New Perspective, You’re Gonna Go Far, and Call Your Mom. For the grand finale, Noah and his band closed out the night with a triumphant encore featuring Young Blood and Stick Season, leaving the stadium in a state of pure euphoria and full of made memories.
