The 2025 NAMM Show was held on January 21st through January 25th at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.  This music industry trade show – NAMM stands for the National Association of Music Merchants – is a celebration of all things related to musical instruments.  It’s a show that was traditionally organized for manufacturers, retailers, and distributors to do business, and was hard to access for the public.  However with an ever evolving music and musical instrument industry and a shift toward the future, the convention has become a more open and inclusive destination for musical talent, fans, and influencers alike.

Like the largest music store you could ever conceive, the entire Anaheim Convention Center is filled to the brim with musical equipment from top manufacturers from all over the world.  It’s a musician’s paradise where you actually have a chance to play almost any piece of musical gear you could dream of, watch incredible musicians demo extravagant instruments, and rub shoulders with musical legends while doing it.

In addition to the main instrument trade show, NAMM also features hundreds of concerts and scheduled events throughout the week showcasing a diverse array of musical artists in almost every genre.  Shows like Metal Allegiance at the House of Blues Anaheim featured a who’s who of heavy metal all-stars, while an impromptu show by the Digital Underground rocked the Pioneer DJ Booth on the show floor.  A true NAMM highlight this year was an opulent guitar on display at the Martin Guitars booth, valued at 3 million dollars, the incredibly stunning instrument was also the 3 millionth guitar the company produced.

Below are some photo highlights from this year’s NAMM show.

The 2025 NAMM Show was another wonderful experience this year and another fine display of musical talent and musical instrument craftsmanship. To be immersed in that much sheer musical talent and energy in one place is a special thing, and to be able to sample so many beautifully crafted instruments and innovative technology at the same time is overwhelming. If you like playing music or just love to experience it live and want to learn more about how instruments are made, be sure to find your way to next year’s conference.
