Louis Tomlinson’s How Did We Get Here? World Tour takes over The Rady Shell with The Royston Club and The Aces

On June 10, The Rady Shell was packed with excited fans to see Louis Tomlinson’s How Did We Get Here? tour stop in San Diego. As one of the first dates on the North America leg of the tour, anticipation was high in the crowd for what the night was going to bring. With the evening being kicked off with The Royston Club and The Aces, it made this lineup and performance a night to remember.

Fans were lined up around the venue by the time the gates opened, and the energy was already buzzing by the time people were let inside. As fans started flooding in, The Royston Club took the stage and immediately set the tone for the night ahead. Their indie-rock music matched the atmosphere and paired perfectly with the lineup for the night. As the set progressed, the crowd continued to grow along with the energy, reaching a high point that remained throughout the rest of the evening.

It was time for The Aces to hit the stage, and right away it was clear their fanbase was present front and center. The crowd erupted with cheers as fans danced and sang along, adding to the atmosphere in the venue. The band’s interactions with the audience made the performance feel more intimate, and added to the energy. One notable moment of the crowd participating was during the band’s hit song, “The Magic,” where the crowd got to sing and act out part of the song. Fans were enthusiastic about participating in it, overall making their performance more memorable for the audience and raising the energy for the final performance of the night.

The moment fans had been waiting for finally arrived when Louis Tomlinson took the stage, and the enthusiasm from the crowd made this night unforgettable. His setlist covered multiple eras of his career, with songs that had fans practically “off the Walls” excited. The performance focused on his newest album, “How Did I Get Here?,” while also featuring songs from his previous albums, “Faith in the Future” and “Walls.” The setlist even included his cover of, “Night Changes,” being a fan favorite of the night. The visuals were vibrant and energetic, perfectly matching the intensity of the crowd and adding to the atmosphere of the show. There were also several memorable moments between Louis Tomlinson and the audience, including him helping participate in a fan’s gender reveal that became a fun standout moment of the night. The crowd’s enthusiasm paired with the overall stage presence created an unforgettable experience that fans are sure to remember for years to come.

The North America leg of the tour is still in full swing, with shows scheduled until the end of July. From there, the tour heads to Australia and Latin America with dates running through April 2027. With its high-energy performances and strong lineup, it’s a show definitely worth seeing.
