La Santa Cecilia enciende el House of Blues al ritmo del son mexicano

Con las celebraciones de la Independencia mexicana y del National Hispanic Heritage Month a la vuelta de la esquina, la banda angelina galardonada con un Grammy, La Santa Cecilia, regresó al House of Blues de San Diego para deleitar una vez más a su público con su amplio repertorio de música mexicana.

La banda, liderada por la inconfundible voz de La Marisoul (Marisol Hernández) e integrada por José ‘Pepe’ Carlos, Miguel ‘Oso’ Ramírez, Alex Bendaña y compañía, interpretó canciones tanto de su álbum más reciente, Cuatro Copas Bohemias en La Finca Altozano, como de sus hits más conocidos y aclamados.

Entre boleros, rancheras, cumbias y bossa novas, pusieron a bailar al House of Blues y envolvieron la velada de una vibra inigualablemente mexicana. La respuesta del público estuvo a la altura: se dedicaron a bailar, corearon cada tema y disfrutaron de una noche que se sintió como un verdadero festejo mexicano.

Con la ayuda de acordeones, quinto, guitarra y la voz de Marisol, los fans de La Santa Cecilia escucharon con entusiasmo canciones como Amar y Vivir, Corazón Bordado, Ódiame, Mar y Cielo, Nunca Más, Calaverita y Me Estoy Volviendo Loca.

No cabe duda de que La Santa Cecilia sabe cómo entregar un concierto especial y divertido a sus fans. Su concierto en San Diego fue un éxito completo y nos deja esperando a la siguiente vez que los podamos ver en vivo. With the Mexican Independence Day and National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations just around the corner, the Grammy-winning Los Angeles-based band La Santa Cecilia returned to the House of Blues in San Diego to once again delight their audience with their wide repertoire of Mexican music.
The band, led by the unmistakable voice of La Marisoul (Marisol Hernández) and comprised of José ‘Pepe’ Carlos, Miguel ‘Oso’ Ramírez, Alex Bendaña, and company, performed songs from their most recent album, Cuatro Copas Bohemias en La Finca Altozano, as well as their most well-known and acclaimed hits.
Between boleros, rancheras, cumbias, and bossa novas, they got the House of Blues dancing and filled the evening with an unparalleled Mexican vibe. The audience’s response was impressive: they danced, sang along to every song, and enjoyed a night that felt like a true Mexican celebration.
With the help of accordions, quinto, guitar, and Marisol’s voice, La Santa Cecilia fans enthusiastically listened to songs like Amar y Vivir (Amar y Vivir), Corazón Bordado (Embroidered Heart), Ódiame (Odiame), Mar y Cielo (Sea and Sky), Nunca Más (Never Again), Calaverita (Little Skull), and Me Estoy Volviendo Loca (I’m Going Crazy).

There’s no doubt that La Santa Cecilia knows how to deliver a special and fun concert for their fans.
