Kinky celebra 25 aniversario de su álbum debut en el House of Blues
La noche del pasado 28 de mayo, el House of Blues de San Diego se transformó por completo para recibir a los regiomontanos de Kinky. Con un recinto que rozó el sold out, la atmósfera que se respiraba no era la de un concierto convencional, sino la de una auténtica fiesta. El motivo principal no era para menos: la banda se encuentra celebrando el 25 aniversario del lanzamiento de su icónico álbum debut homónimo, Kinky. Desde que las puertas abrieron, la emoción comunitaria y la nostalgia se apoderaron del lugar, reuniendo a un público eufórico que acudió listo para conmemorar la increíble trayectoria de una de las agrupaciones más innovadoras de la música mexicana.
Al tratarse de una celebración tan especial centrada de lleno en su historia, la velada arrancó directamente con la banda tomando el control absoluto del escenario para revivir la nostalgia de sus inicios. La respuesta de los asistentes locales fue inmediata y desbordante, manteniendo la pista de baile en un estado de euforia colectiva. On the night of May 28th, the House of Blues in San Diego was completely transformed to welcome Monterrey’s own Kinky. With a venue that neared a sold out, the atmosphere felt less like a conventional concert and more like an authentic, massive party. The main reason was certainly worth it: the band is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the release of their iconic self-titled debut album, Kinky. From the moment the doors opened, community excitement and nostalgia took over the venue, gathering an euphoric audience that arrived ready to commemorate the incredible trajectory of one of the most innovative acts in Mexican music.
Being such a special celebration centered entirely on their history, the evening kicked off directly with the band taking absolute control of the stage to revive the nostalgia of their beginnings. The response from the local attendees was immediate and overwhelming, keeping the dance floor in a state of collective euphoria. The night felt deeply intimate, with an audience that danced and chanted along to every chord, infecting the House of Blues with an impeccable festive vibe that honored the 25 years of a sound that defined a whole generation.
Faithful to the concept of their anniversary tour, Kinky structured the night flawlessly by playing their first album in its entirety in its original order.
