Ken Carson Brings the Xperimenting Tour to Gallagher Square

On September 20th, 2026, The Lord of Chaos, AKA Ken Carson, brought his highly anticipated Xperimenting tour to a sold-out show at Gallagher Square! Ken Carson brought 3 amazing opening acts for this tour, which included Xaviersobased, Prettifun, and DJ Moon!.

The Xperiment tour celebrates the release of Ken’s newest album, “Xperiment”, which brought his chaotic and signature sound back to San Diego!

The first set of the night was DJ Moon. DJ Moon is a multi-Grammy-nominated producer and DJ known for his work with Future, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, and Playboi Carti. Before his set even started, fans were already going crazy in the crowd by crowd surfing and opening mosh pits with no music playing! When we saw this, we knew what kind of night San Diego was gonna have.

As soon as DJ Moon hit the stage, the crowd was more than ready; they erupted with energy as he opened his set with Playboi Carti’s “Go2DaMoon”. He kept the crowd going crazy by playing crowd anthems like Lil Uzi Vert’s “Aye”, Ski Mask The Slump God’s “Take a Step Back”, and Playboi Carti’s “POP OUT”. DJ Moon did not disappoint with his set and warmed up the crowd perfectly for the night.

Next up on the stage was Prettifun. Prettifun has been on a crazy run in the underground as just before the tour started, he released his highly anticipated album, “Pretti Loves U 2” which he’s been playing throughout the tour. Prettifun switched it up for the San Diego stop. Instead of opening with “Moon and the stars”, he stepped on stage and opened with “Light” and fans went crazy for it.

His unique sound made Gallagher Square sound like a video game with the way he mixes rage rap, hyperpop, and melodic trap all together. Prettifun had brought out Lucy Bedroque as a special guest for this show and performed “Ultraviolet” and “ALL SPEAKERS GO TO HEAVEN”. The moment fans realized Lucy had appeared you could hear a roar of excitement though the crowd. Prettifun had also played usual fan favorites like “Ice Cream”, “Dead First”, and “Feel Like Uzi”. He ended his set with “Unfazed” and left the crowd ready for Xaviersobased.

The last opener was Xaviersobased, one of the most anticipated openers for the night. Xaviersobased is one of the leading names right now in the underground and it’s easy to see why. Xaviersobased is known for his high energy performances, and he did not disappoint San Diego! Xaviersobased brought DJ Rennesy with him and the both of them together have incredible chemistry.

DJ Ren helped keep the energy high throughout the set while Xavier performed fan favorites like “Special”, “Double Whammy”, and “Party At My Place”. The crowd responded with non stop energy throughout the whole set, opening mosh pits throughout the whole venue! By the end of his performance, he had left the crowd warmed up for Ken Carson.

As the crowd grew larger, Smoke started to lift off the stage and the intro of Ken Carson’s “Deaf Note” started to play across Gallagher Square. The anticipation that had been building right when doors opened was at an all time high, and the crowd erupted when Ken Carson stepped on stage. Throughout the entire set, fans were going crazy opening up moshing and jumping with so much energy.

Throughout the night, lasers were flashing through the sky and flames were shooting from the stage which helped add to the chaotic and energetic atmosphere that Ken Carson had created. Ken Carson had played a full mix from his discography playing new and old pulling all the way back from his album, “Project X” to new music from “Xperiment”. He had played fan favorites like “Freestyle 2” “Lord Of Chaos”, and “It’s Over”.

One of the most memorable moments from his performance was when he had brought a young fan on stage to help him perform “Fighting My Demons”! The crowd cheered for him once they realized he made it on stage, which created an unforgettable memory that the young fan would never forget.

The show also served as a full circle moment for Ken Carson’s career, as five years ago, he stood on the same stage opening up for Playboi Carti’s King Vamp tour. Now, Ken returned to Gallagher Square, performing for his own sold out San Diego crowd! From the mosh pits to the non stop chants, San Diego showed up for Ken Carson in every way imaginable, making his return to Gallagher Square a night to remember.
