Jutes rocked a sold out show at Music Box with Wilt and Mothica

Jutes “Smile You’re On Tour” tour made its way to San Diego, California to close out his second US tour. The sold out show took place on October 1st, 2026 at the Music Box.

The night kicked off with the first opener, Wilt. The band lit up the stage with their hit songs such as “dent” and “nothing good to cry about.” They created a fun indie-rock atmosphere for the audience to jam along to. Their debut album “when no one’s watching” also released this night on October 1st, 2026.

Then the second opener, Mothica, took the stage with her dark cinematic presence. Her name is representative of moths as they are nocturnal and drawn to light. She mentioned that it was their first time playing in San Diego and it was perfect to be dressed like a jester for October 1st. Mothica played her rocking songs such as “buzzkill“ and “SENSITIVE.”

She reminded the crowd that everything they have been through in life makes them stronger and things will get better. She was honored the audience chose to listen to live music tonight. Mothica said the one thing to take away from her show is that “Your sensitivity is a f—ing superpower. And your boots are never too tall.”

Then as Jutes took the stage the fans faces lit ups with excitement as their hands went up in the air. Kicking the show off with “Cry Wolf,” Jutes was consistently jumping around the stage elevating the crowd’s energy in the venue.

His latest single “Love Psychosis” was released on September 18th, 2026 and recently hit number three on the Billboard hot hard rock songs chart. Jutes stated this was a “huge milestone for me” and he could not believe the amount of support that his fans have shown him.

He sang emotional heartfelt songs such as “Take Care of Her” for his grandma who recently passed, as well as electric alt-rock metal songs such as “Blink Twice” and “Disassociate.” He said the album “Chin Up, Beautiful” which was released in August of 2026 had changed his life. He made the album a mix of many genres as he was going to quit music, but due to the support on the album he said he is not going to quit music anymore.

He thanked his fans and says “it’s everything I’ve ever wanted a more.” It was beautiful to see how emotional he got with his fans because you could tell he truly has a passion for what he does and is very grateful to reach many people through his music.

Music was all of our therapy tonight as Jutes stated. Between heavy alternative metal to dreamy hip hop indie vibes, Jutes brought all the emotions to his show. The night was electric as the stage lit up changing colors and the crowd was head banging along as they sang with pure joy. If Jutes tours again you do not want to miss his epic performance and his electrifying his energy!
