Harry Potter Live in Concert with the San Diego Symphony at The Rady Shell

Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone was Live in Concert at The Rady Shell with the San Diego Symphony. The shows took place on August 21st and 22nd in San Diego.

An Immersive Experience

The Rady Shell turned their venue into a cinematic experience selling popcorn, ice cream, candy, and more tasty options for guests. The crowd was full of fans dressed in robes holding their wizard wands. A wonderful scene of orchestra and movie lovers coming together for a movie with a beautiful sunset view as well.

To start the night off the San Diego Symphony conductor, Justin Freer, welcomed the audience and stated the four Hogwarts houses to get the audience involved. The audience cheered the loudest for Hufflepuff including Justin Freer himself.

A Wonderful Scene

The Shell’s acoustics let the San Diego Symphony shine their talent alongside the film in a wonderful atmosphere. The audience cheered with joy as the film began. Alongside The Shell people enjoyed the movie from their boats on the bay.

The energy was electric as the audience cheered for their favorite characters as they appeared on the screen. Applause especially erupted as Hagrid made his appearance in the film.

A brief intermission occurred in the middle of the film allowing guests to take in the bay view, use the restroom, or purchase additional snacks for their comfort.
