Most of the best shows this week are going to be on Friday! So choose wisely… Would you prefer to check out new DIY venue the Pit San Diego? Or would you rather hangout at Little Italy concert haven, the Casbah? Either way you can’t go wrong!

Monday, November 30 – Family of the Year, Kaleo – The Loft
Start the week off right at the Loft! Family of the Year just released a self titled album this September that garnered positive reviews. Icelandic indie pop band Kaleo will open. Their recorded music sounds mellow but live they’re an electric group reminiscent of Led Zeppelin. More info.

Friday, December 4 – Tanlines – The Irenic
Ah the Irenic! Our favorite church by day venue by night establishment. Electronic/indie rock duo Tanlines from Brooklyn, NY will play music from their newest album, Highlights. More info.

Friday, December 4 – Kids, Sledding with Tigers, Soft Lions, Mandarin Dynasty – The Pit San Diego
This new DIY venue just opened up in Pacific Beach of all places. Local favorites Kids, Sledding with Tigers and Soft Lions will play with Portland’s Mandarin Dynasty. More info.

Friday, December 4 – Little Hurricane, Birdy Bardot, Rin Tin Tiger, Dani Bell and the Tarantist – The Casbah
Hometown heros Little Hurricane have been featured in Rollingstone Magazine, KROQ and a Taco Bell commercial! They’re not too cool to play San Diego, however. Another local, Birdy Bardot, will be opening for them. More info.

Saturday, December 5 – Tijuana Rumblefest 2015 – Calle Cuarta between Revolución and Constitución
This festival is a binational event featuring artists from Mexico and the United States. Join ListenSD in Tijuana, Mexico for killer sets from the Schizophonics, Radio Moscow, San Pedro El Cortez and more. More info.
