Wiz Khalifa embodied West Coast Vibes standing on a staircase smoking a blunt.

Wiz Khalifa took stage August 10th at North Island Credit Union Amphitheater on his Decent Exposure tour with French Montana, Moneybagg Yo, Chevy Woods, Playboi Carti, and DJ Drama. Each artist brought out a different style of rap. DJ Bonics warmed up the stage for DJ Drama who in between sets kept the crowd hyped. He opened by asking who in the crowd wants to smoke with Wiz Khalifa on stage during his set and asked everyone to pay their respect to the late Nipsey Hussle.

Chevy Woods and Moneybagg Yo had the crowd hyped the entire time rapping along with them. Playboi Carti brought undeniable, fun energy getting everyone ready for headliners French Montana and Wiz Khalifa.

French Montana’s set opened with a violinist, followed by many dancers. He played his biggest hits “All the Way Up” and “Unforgettable”. During his set, he played some samples from West Coast beloveds Tupac and Snoop Dogg.

Every artist got the crowd excited and pumped for Wiz Khalifa to finish off the concert strong. The stage was pitch black with a video montage playing. His grand entrance took place at the top of the stairs filled with a cloud of smoke. Wiz Khalifa embodied West Coast Vibes as he made his entrance smoking a blunt and opening with “King of Everything”.

He played fan favorites like “Bout Me”, “Black and Yellow”, and brought French Montana on stage for “Slide”. Not only did he knock this show out of the park with his energy, but he also showcased his vocals with an acapella rendition of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road.” Wiz Khalifa wrapped up this four-hour show with “Young, Wild, & Free”, and asked everyone to put their lights up for “See You Again”. The show ended on a nostalgic note celebrating their late friends Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle. Overall the show embodied friendship and getting to expose fans to new artists they may have known.
