Title: Good Night America
Release Date: June 1st, 2018
Label: Unsigned / Self-release

The Lulls summon the sunshine in time for Summer ’18 with their bouncy, satirical take on a romantic love affair with America gone awry.

Is anyone out there paying attention to what’s going on in the news? Did we all collectively replace the NPR radio stream with something a bit more palatable and decide to turn a cold shoulder to America?

I’ve been praying to the spirits of positivity and hope for an antidote since that dreary day on November 8, 2016. While “Good Night America” may not sway the tides of the country, it sure casts a spectacular, cheeky sheen on democracy.

Good night America
We’ve grown weary and you need a friend
Midnight hysteria, you came to it violently this is the end
Turn down the stereo, can you hear me breathing it’s not just pretend
You’re not a miracle, you’ve done it once and you’ll do it again

But enough with the politics already! “Good Night America” is the statue of liberty of indie anthems and soars high with shimmery guitars and a driving, playful groove. Master mixing by Kurt Feldman (DIIV, Pains of Being Pure at Heart) transports the listener into a bounce house water fight full of fruity, flavored soda water and soaked smiles from ear to ear!

The Lulls will be rolling more singles out in the coming months, so stay dialed in my fellow seekers of the aural light!
