The Last Shadow Puppets

The Last Shadow Puppets

‘My mistakes’ Friday night were surely a result of Alex Turner’s sexy dance moves and the incredible talent of 4 piece band “The Last Shadow Puppets” Friday August 5th, at The Observatory in North Park.

After a long and lengthy pause from 2008’s album “The Age of Understatement” the band returned with dynamic album “Everything You’ve Come to Expect” in 2016. With accompaniment from a string quartet, the show was immensely enjoyable to watch and the chemistry between founders Alex Turned and Miles Kane is unparalleled. The iconic way the two bounced off each other on stage, can only be described to me as an exclusive, musically seductive friendship only they understand.

The show kicked off with songs  ‘Bad Habits’, ‘Standing next to me’, ‘My Mistakes Were Made For You’, and ending with ‘Separate and Every Deadly’, the whole musical climate Friday night was a hit for all the senses, and I’m pretty sure everyone walking out that concert hall felt a hell of a lot sexier.
