Bleeding Gold Records and Field Trips cordially invite you to a night of music, art, and revelry featuring a slew of BGR bands and some good friends.

Ariel Levine, Low Points, New Me are just a few of the names taking the stage for local label Bleeding Gold Records’ OPEN AIR performance at Fair At 44 on April 20th. The roster is a wide and varied crew of both BGR favorites and some local friends, ranging from esoteric Dream Pop of New Me and Dream Joints to the Bowie-esque stylings of Ariel Levine & Mechanical Royalty.

Bleeding Gold has made a name for itself as arguably the most prolific San Diego local label in recent memory, putting out countless local releases from a plethora of respected local artists. Ingratiating itself to the local music community, it as managed to put together an impressive roster of artists set to perform.

Transborder group Ethics, back from a recent trek to NRML Festival in Mexico having played alongside the likes of Mac Demarco and Explosions in the sky, will bring along their rapturous experimental, art, and dance party.

Fresh off their San Diego Music Awards “Song of The Year” win, Ariel Levine & Mechanical Royalty will bring their intricate, stylish, brand of rock music to City Heights.

Dream Joints features Wild Wild Wets frontman Mike Turi, who presents a surrealistic mesh of intoxicating synth-based tunes, eschewing the psychedelic rock stylings of his band in favor of a more ethereal, synthetic sound.

New Me, the solo project of Spooky Cigarette member Jakob McWhinney, features low-fi Dream Pop saturated in moody vocals and harmonious melodies.

Other acts include: Well Well Well, Pall Jenkins, HOLY PINK , Low Points, Former, Tape Waves, Thunderegg, and (Thee) sick balloons

Bleeding Gold’s Open Air Market will also feature vendors, visual artists, and is all ages for just $3. Check out the event and grab tickets here.
