Tuesday, March 8 – St. Lucia – The Observatory North Park
Expect fun, shimmery synth pop inspired by the 80s. St. Lucia is the solo project of Jean Philip-Grobler. He got his musical start in a choir then relocated to New York City to do his own thing. Their full length Matter came out January 29th. More info.

Tuesday, March 8 – Le1f – Soda Bar
Le1f (pronounced “leaf”) got his start in the arts as a dancer but then turned his focus on rapping. As a student at Wesleyan University, he met members of rap group Das Racist and made beats for their songs including the hit “Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.” He went solo with the release of his mixtape Dark York. Friday, March 11 – Gary Clark Jr. – House of Blues
Clark is an actor and guitarist born and raised in Austin, Texas. He’s worked with the likes of the Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys and Sheryl Crow. He’s bringing his bluesy, jazz and soul influenced guitar rock this Friday to the House of Blues. More info.

Friday, March 11 – Mystic Braves – Casbah
This LA based quintet will make you feel like you just stepped into the 1960s. Their groovy garage rock recalls the Yardbirds, Cream and Hendrix–they even look the part with their vintage inspired clothing and psychedelic projections at live shows. More info.

Friday, March 11 – Astronauts, etc. – Merrow
Astronauts, etc. is based out of Oakland, California. Their pretty soulful pop is making waves with the critics. Their debut LP is called Mind Out Wandering. More info.
