Immortal Technique – Observatory North Park
Also known as Felipe Andres Coronel, this rapper has been writing lyrics about social issues and participating as an activist since the early 2000s. His much anticipated third album, The Middle Passage, is coming soon. More info.

Birdy Bardot – Harry Griffen Park Amphitheater
You might have seen this San Diego singer playing around town with the New Kinetics or the Rosalyns. She’s stepped out on her own and released a gorgeous solo album on local record label Redwoods Music. More info.
