Jennifer Lopez threw herself one hell of a party Monday night at Pechanga Arena

jennifer lopez it's my partyThe QUEEN that is J-Lo opened her party up with a montage of her life on the big screen with flashbacks from her acting career in Selina, to her life as a mother with Marc Anthony and her new love A-Rod. She waltzed out in a skin-tight sparkly number with one sheer leg, showing off her toned body. HOT DAMN. Like a fine wine, this woman only gets better with age.

Celebrating her 50th birthday on July 24th, this Latin Grammy award winner commands your attention when she takes the stage. Since Jennifer Lopez first launched her music career in 1999, this native of The Bronx has been a constant figure in the world of pop. Lopez burst into the spotlight with her No. 1 debut single, “If You Had My Love,” and she has since maintained her status as one of the leading ladies in the music scene with a string of successful follow-ups. Her numerous entries into the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10 have included huge hits like “Waiting for Tonight,” “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” and “On the Floor.”

About halfway through the set, J-Lo shed her knowledge onto the crowd telling us:

You can do whatever you want, once you figure that out – you’re unstoppable

before flying in a poofy red dress. Okay, J-Lo. We’ll take your word for it. If her presence wasn’t enough, her outfits sure were. She bedazzled the crowd with 19 outfit changes throughout the night from her longtime friend and stylist, Rob Zangardi.

Not only did J-Lo perform her classic hits including “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” and “Let’s Get Loud”, but she also gave San Diego a taste of her most recent music, showing that the diva has no plans of slowing down. From acting to singing to dancing, J-Lo has proven she can do it all.

The Tour continues across the U.S. with its final leg in Miami, a second home to the Bronx artist for a 3-day celebration on the 25, 26, and 27 for back-to-back performances at the American Airlines Arena.

J-Lo, thanks for letting us celebrate with you.
