Joyce Manor

Joyce Manor is an American rock band from Torrance, California, formed in 2008. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Barry Johnson, guitarist Chase Knobbe, bassist, and back-up vocalist Matt Ebert, and drummer Pat Ware. Joyce Manor’s sound is in the way co-founding guitarist Chase Knobbe can somehow make a song sadder and tougher at the same time, or the way Johnson mixes minor and major chords to invoke a precise kind of overpowering melancholy.
