We caught Death Valley Girls, joined by Gymshorts and The Listeners, at Mercury Lounge in the heart of the Bowery for a crowded celebration of “Halloween 2!”
Fresh off their long-awaited second full-length album, Darkness Rains, LA locals Death Valley Girls treated a crowded room to their unique, dynamic grunge-rock and the giggle-inducing stage banter that they’re so well-known for. Their obvious love for Halloween – seeing them the night before probably would have been a treat – adds a few spooky puns, and was a celebration of “Halloween 2,” a series which we all hope will continue for the rest of November.
