San Diego got a psychedelic dance party from down under on Monday night when the electronic Aussie group Cut Copy came to the House of Blues.

The packed house started with the smooth sultry sounds of Jessy Lanza and a DJ opener to get everyone in the groove, but the real fun started when Cut Copy took the stage. The epic lights and moving backdrops perfectly matched the mood and visually represented the songs in ways you could never imagine just listening to the albums. And with dance moves for days, Cut Copy exceeded my expectations ten fold.

Playing new tracks from their latest album Free Your Mind and some older favorites off ZonoscopeIn Ghost Colours, and Bright Like Neon Love, they covered a wide spectrum from their 13-year career and made their entire fan base happy. If you ever get the chance, please go see Cut Copy live. The only word that can sum up the experience is EPIC.
