Young the Giant, Ra Ra Riot – House of Blues
Formed in Irvine, California in 2004, Young the Giant now has three releases under their belt. Their newest indie rock album is called Home of the Strange. More info.

Mura Masa – Music Box
20-year-old Alex Crossan, also known as Mura Masa, is an electronic music producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has lots of EPs, singles and mixtapes out and will be releasing a full length next year. More info.

Majid Jordan – Observatory North Park
An R&B duo from Canada, Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman first met as students at the University of Toronto. Their self titled debut album was released this year. More info.

Wild Nothing, Spooky Cigarette – Music Box
Wild Nothing is the dream pop project of Jack Tatum. Started in 2009, the band has now three albums including their 2016 release Life of Pause. More info.

Beach Goth – Oak Canyon Park, OC

The Bad Vibes, Hungry Skinny, Subtropics, Coral Bells – Kensington Club

Violent Femmes – Observatory North Park
This beloved punk band has been active on and off but we’re so glad they’re back in San Diego. Their newest album is called We Can Do Anything and it’s HOT. More info.
